It's not just two-legged friends who are happy about the large selection of fruit that the warm season brings. Our furry friends also love the sweet variety in their bowl. That's why today we're serving up a colorful fruit smoothie.

What you need:

  • mixed fruits (organic quality)
  • Knife
  • cutting board
  • high-performance blender

Today we have apple, banana, peach, cherries and pear (please make sure they are organic). The ingredients are chopped, stacked in the blender, then mixed and spread on the dog food (for example from VEGDOG ).

The secondary plant substances contained in peaches and cherries, such as anthocyanin and catechin , make this mix a real health booster. They have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and are anti-inflammatory . So the summer flu can come along?

The other types of fruit also contain a variety of different, health-promoting ingredients. It is not for nothing that they say "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". Important: The vitamins are in the peel - so please do not peel them, but wash them well!

The apple, for example, strengthens the immune system thanks to the provitamin A it contains. Vitamin C has an antioxidant effect and thus protects the body from harmful substances. Pears have similar ingredients. However, because they contain less fruit acid, they are sometimes easier on the stomach. Bananas not only support the cardiovascular system thanks to the potassium they contain. Vitamin B6 also supports your four-legged friend's nervous system. This makes our smoothie a real all-rounder.
