In winter, both dogs and humans need particularly strong immune systems. We can ideally support the immune system through our dog's diet. That's why we have developed a green smoothie for dogs that really boosts the immune system thanks to its nutrient-rich, healthy ingredients.

Kale and spinach are extremely rich in vitamins and minerals, which makes them extremely healthy even in small amounts. Blueberries also add minerals and vitamins to the smoothie, as well as additional fiber and antioxidants. Mango and apple are particularly easy on the stomach and give the smoothie a pleasant sweetness. A little VEGDOG wet food makes the mixture even more delicious for your dog.

The ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons VEGDOG wet food of your choice
  • a few leaves of kale
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1 cup of water

The preparation

The preparation is actually very simple: Put all the ingredients together in a blender, slightly chopped up the mango and apple. Then switch on the blender and puree the ingredients until you have a homogeneous mass. If the smoothie is still too mushy, slowly add a little more water and mix it in until the consistency is optimal.

You can mix the smoothie into the food or give it to your dog to drink in small amounts if you like it.

We hope you have fun trying it out. Stay healthy and get through the winter well!
