Ingredients for your Halloween treat
A simple basic recipe for your furry friend is easy to put together. You need the following ingredients:
- 100 g oat flakes
- 100 g Hokkaido pumpkin
- 50 g soft dates (or previously soaked in water)
- 30 g zucchini
- 200 g Tetra Pak ADULT
- 2 g cinnamon
Baking step by step
- Grind the oats: Place the oats in a blender and grind them until they have a fine, flour-like consistency.
- Cook and puree the pumpkin: Peel the Hokkaido pumpkin, dice it and cook it in a pan of water until it is soft. Then process it into a fine puree.
- Puree dates and zucchini: If the dates are too firm, soak them in warm water first, squeeze them and then puree them together with the zucchini in a blender until smooth.
- Mix the ingredients: Mix the ground oat flakes, the zucchini-date puree, the pumpkin puree, the contents of the Tetra Pak and cinnamon in a large bowl. Knead everything well until you have a moldable mass.
- Form balls: Form about 20 small balls from the mixture.
- Baking: Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake them in the preheated oven at 90 °C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool: Take the balls out of the oven, allow them to cool completely – and then enjoy!
